The Faults of Procrastination

Today's weekly devotional was something I wish I had learned a long time ago. The devotional was given by a professor in the family sciences department, and he specializes in marriage therapy. He taught us about some major thinking flaws one of them being perfectionism. He told us that Perfectionism leads to Procrastination and that leads to Paralysis. This is so me! We build up this grand idea of what we want the final product to be and then we freak ourselves out over achieving that ideal and we become incapable of beginning work on such an overwhelming task. Brother Larson taught us that it's all about the Process not the Outcome. We need to focus on what we are doing with our lives now, not just a pituresque outcome. So this is my new motto in life and maybe you learned something too.

Just remember:
Perfectionsism--> Procrastination--> Paralysis

Procces not Outcome!
